8. MAJAKKA-ELISE ”Lighthouse-Elise”

This one was in my repertoire in the 1990s already. I recall playing this successfully with Kurt Lindblad in the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival. Juha’s and Pasi’s keyboards brought the song to a new level. The title involves a pun: Lighthouse is “fyr” in Swedish.

Laulu on kokoelman vanhin, ollut ohjelmistossa jo 90-luvulla. Muistan esittäneeni tätä Kaustisella Kurt Lindbladin kanssa hyvällä menestyksellä. Juhan ja Pasin kosketinsoittimet toivat biisin aivan uudelle tasolle. Majakka on fyr på svenska.
